Master bedroom of a large detached house in North Burnaby/Burnaby Mountain. It’s a 4k sq.ft. house, and your unfurnished room will be on the 2nd floor with a spacious ensuite bathroom and balcony/deck. The room is available from August 1st, 2026 for a yearly contract.

The shared spaces are the giant kitchen/living room, backyard, storage area, garage, and the washer/dryer.

Utilities (BC Hydro, Fortis, Telus 3gig internet) are shared and can get up to $130 in the winter just because it’s a bigger house. We are also happy to share access to streaming services.

Lots of street parking available, and it’s also accessible via transit with the R5, 144 (Hastings/Duthie), and the 160 (Inlet Dr/Ridge Dr) buses. Please note that there is a downhill walk if you’re taking transit. (Uphill to get back to the house.)

Potentially pet-friendly as well, would just like to make sure all the animal housemates get along first.

There are currently 5 people living in this house. You’ll be sharing the giant kitchen and living room with 3 people. We all have our own ensuites, so we’re all mostly in our rooms. The other 2 have their own unit in the basement.

We’re all in our late 20’s to mid 30’s working in various jobs and are generally mostly introverted, but very chill and friendly. We occasionally have meals together, or chat when we’re in the shared spaces, but for the most part everyone keeps to themselves. It’s a quiet house but some of us do occasionally play music, etc.
