ABOUT THE HOUSE

The house is a full two-storey heritage townhouse featuring: -> Three bedrooms (two of which are available to rent). -> One full bathroom (with tub and shower) and one half bathroom. -> Furnished living room and dining room. -> Spacious and sunny eat-in kitchen. -> Newly-built front porch and rear patio overlooking large shaded backyard. -> High-speed internet via Wi-Fi. -> Washing machine and dryer. -> Air conditioning (heating and cooling) powered by a recently-installed energy-efficient heat pump.

All areas of the house except bedrooms are for shared use.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

South Riverdale is a quiet, safe, walkable neighbourhood. The house is located on a low-traffic one-way street. It is a five minute walk from the lively restaurants and shops of Queen Street East, and an equally short distance from Chinatown East and the Gerrard Square Mall. It is also a twenty minute walk from Greektown/The Danforth.

There are two large parks within a short walk of the house, as well as two full-featured community centres, a multitude of shops, restaurants, and other businesses.

Transit connections include the 501 (Queen), 504 (King), 505 (Dundas), and 506 (Carlton) streetcars, all within 2-5 minute walking distance. The nearest subway station is Broadview Station, accessible via streetcar.

A smaller, quiet bedroom with a view of the backyard. There is no closet, but a portable clothes-rack will be provided.

I am a full-time student looking for other women students or young professionals as roommates. LGBTQ+ people are welcome (I am a transgender woman). I am quiet, clean, and considerate. I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs; nor do I party or make excessive noise. I expect that all roommates, including myself, will contribute to maintaining a tidy and respectful shared living environment. I also have a cat, who makes use of the shared spaces throughout the house.
