About the room

I have two rooms currently available in my detached house in Forest Heights:

Room A ($1,300/mo, 152sqft+bath+closet): The primary bedroom with a recently renovated ensuite bathroom featuring heated floors.

Room C ($800/mo, 116sqft+closet): A great, medium-sized room; you would share a bathroom with me on the top floor right across from this room.

Room B is the smallest bedroom and can be rented as a dedicated office space, or shared for storage.

I can provide the rooms furnished or unfurnished. The main floor is a shared space for everyone to enjoy. Dishwasher in the kitchen, TV in the living room, I’m flexible with incorporating your things in the living space. I sleep in the basement which I also use as a workshop and for storage. I’m looking for long-term roommates who are clean, communicative, and respectful. I don’t smoke and am looking for similar, or no smell at least. I don’t have a preference regarding gender or orientation, but I do prefer a similar professional vibe. I am generally pet-friendly, though I’m less sure a cat would work well.

All utilities, high-speed internet, shared laundry, and driveway parking are included in the rent. Some additional storage is available in the basement or in the shed, however I use the garage for projects and vehicle maintenance. I’m fine with guests within reason. About the roomies

I am looking for one to three roommates to share my house with. I’m a young (34yo) professional engineer who enjoys staying active (cycling and kiteboarding), tinkering in my workshop and DIYing house maintenance among other things. I value a home that is quiet where everyone feels comfortable, but I’m also looking for people I can call friends. I like the idea of occasional house dinners, game nights, or even just a quick Costco run together, but I also respect and enjoy personal space and quiet time. I currently don’t have any other roommates yet but will update when I do.
