Hi! I live in a big 71/2 and I am looking for another LONG-TERM roommate for the month of September (there would be three of us eventually). The room is quite spacious with a queen bed, a small desk and a shelf. It overlooks the backyard and enjoys a beautiful sunshine in the afternoon as well as a large wardrobe with wardrobe. Very spacious apartment, 10-foot ceilings, with a beautiful rear balcony with table and chairs as well as some herbs in pots! There is also plenty of storage space if needed, a laundry room with washer/dryer and all the furniture already included (but if you have some furniture you want to bring, you are welcome). 7 minutes walk from Papineau metro, grocery store, pharmacy, etc… the area is quiet but very close to downtown, the Plateau or Hochelaga. 20 minutes walk from Baldwin or Lafontaine Park or 30 minutes walk from the Quartier des spectacles. We are also right next to the community grocery store Les 3 Paniers, as well as community gardens! Frankly, the neighborhood is becoming more and more resplendent while remaining affordable. The rent is $705 per month, plus hydro and high-speed internet.

I am looking for someone 25+ who is comfortable moving to an already established place and who considers himself to be a stable person or to be in a period of stability in his life. I don’t tolerate hints very well, so I encourage direct communication and kindness within the premises. Ultimately, I aspire to a peaceful shared apartment above all else. I have always lived in a place where we prioritize others’ sleep after 10-11 p.m. and I don’t invite people very often. All my social energy is used outside the house so as a rule I don’t socialize often in the house and I’m looking for someone who is comfortable with that. I think I can offer a good place to live for introverts or those who want to live in a safe and functional place to focus on their work or studies.
