About the room

Hi,

I have a fully furnished room available in a brand new 2-story town home overlooking a forest and mountain-top view in Sainte-Adele. There is a thermopump for AC and heat dispersion, as well as a LifeBreath ventilation system, allowing fresh air at all times throughout the home. The back of the house overlooks a forest and mountain, and gives way to a large balcony, currently home to a waterproof table and chairs and a collapsable freestanding hammock. Which, is the best place to drink your morning drink of choice, watch the sunrise/set, and enjoy a book all summer long. The home has a TV room, with a multitude of subscriptions to various streaming platforms that can be shared. As well as a fully stocked kitchen, with a dishwasher, stove, air fryer, fridge, deep freezer, and plenty of storage space. The kitchen island is equipped with high-backed chairs and is the perfect way to watch a show while still eating in the kitchen. There is also a living room by the balcony with a formal dining table for guests or intimate dinners, which can easily double as a huge home office, for those that work from home. Upstairs there is my office/library from which any books or graphic novels can be borrowed as needed. As well as a gigantic bathroom with a deep bathtub by the window, that has a view on a ski slope. There are his and hers sinks, plenty of storage space below, and a large glass shower with amazing water pressure. The washer and dryer are also in the bathroom, hidden in a deep closet, along with more storage space. Finally, the available bedroom overlooks a forest and no neighbours, offering a lot of privacy outside the many exotic birds, geese, and squirrels that make it their home most of the year. It comes with a brand-new queen-sized Murphy bed (which collapses back into a dresser), allowing for multipurpose use of your bedroom. There are plugs for computer, phones, and USB on the outside of the bed frame, as well as a bedside shelf complete with an antique lamp for nighttime use. There is a colossal antique dresser by the window, and a large closet with shelves, for further storage space. Along with the room comes a designated parking spot in front of the home, which is off the street, as well as access to my outdoor EV charger if you have an electric car. In the winter, snow pickup up to the main street is included. I am looking for someone quiet, clean, employed, cat-friendly, and easy to live with. I work from home, so I do need someone for whom that won’t be an issue. Likewise, I am open to male or female roommates, for short or long-term stays. About the roomies

Hi, I work from home full-time, I have one rescue stray and her litter of 4 kittens that I recently adopted. They are really cute, curious, and welcoming if you like kitten cuddles and a shy adult cat. I also like to run, bike, hike, and bake. All very homebody activities which is why I live in the countryside. I am open to male or female roomates, of all backgrounds and ages. Hopefully I will meet lovely individuals I can both live with easily and learn from.
