About the room
One room available in a ground floor 4Bed4Bath apartment in an renovated freestanding house. Downtown Toronto, 3min walk from UofT campus, 5min to OCAD, 15min to TMU. Close to Line 1 subway + streetcar.
Onsite coin laundry shared with the other floors of the house. Wifi ($15/month) + Hydro not included in the rent. All bathrooms (shower incl.) are ensuite, shared living room & full kitchen. No cats & dogs, smokers okay as long as it’s not done inside the house– there is a small park nearby that others in the building use.
Preferably looking for another student to join the house :) Lease is for one year starting on Aug 15, move in any time after that! Will need first & last + key deposit.
Photos are an example of what the room looks like. The room available is the same size but is currently in the process of being moved out of so everything is a bit chaotic. House will be fully deep cleaned (including the available room) for a fresh start on the new lease.
Please message here / text if interested! I don’t answer typically answer unknown numbers. Walk-through video available. Will need to fill out a rental application for the landlord as a formality / background check. Confirmation of enrolment/student ID for students preferred.
About the roomies
Three 20y/o UofT students, all female & non-smokers. Clean, quiet but friendly. All humanities students. We spend most of our time in our own rooms or out at work/class. We will probably match your vibe! We’re chill to be friends or to just strictly be roommates. We want to create a communicative space where we can bounce ideas off each other to make the house better for all of us :)
The house (including the other floors) is pretty young and pretty queer. Definitely a college house, but it doesn’t usually feel like one because of how quiet it is. Guests are allowed but usually cleared with the group ahead of time. You can occasionally hear the above and below neighbours, but it’s fairly infrequent and easy to tune out.
