Bright, comfortable room in a shared home in Toronto’s Oakwood Village neighbourhood. The property is in a convenient, central location with a relaxed residential feel, while still being close to everything you need.

The neighbourhood has plenty of local cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and other everyday amenities within walking distance. There are also parks and green spaces nearby, making it easy to get outside and enjoy the area. Transit is a major perk, there are TTC buses along Oakwood and nearby routes on St. Clair, and the new Oakwood Station on Line 5 Eglinton makes getting across Toronto much easier.

The area has a great mix of established local businesses and newer cafés and restaurants, with a strong neighbourhood/community feel.

Overall, it’s a great location for someone who wants the convenience of being in central Toronto without being right in the middle of downtown.

There are currently two of us living in the home. We’re both pretty independent and have our own routines, so the house tends to be relaxed and low-key.

I work and am often at my boyfriend’s on weekends, so I’m not home all the time. When I am home, I usually like to keep things cozy and watch movies.

My roommate is often out during the day for school or work and tends to go to bed early, so the home is generally pretty quiet in the evenings and overnight.

One nice bonus is that you’ll only be sharing a bathroom with me, my current roommate has their own private bathroom.

We’re looking for someone who is respectful, clean, and easygoing and who will be considerate of the shared space. We would also prefer someone who works outside of the home.
