GREAT GREEN ROOM

All amenities and utilities are included in rental cost. Available now (but more sensibly Sept. 1). Fully furnished room in a female household, designed and suited to single occupancy.

The Area: It’s less than a block to College St. with Little Italy (west) and Kensington Market (east) on a quiet, tree-lined residential street. It’s two blocks to U of T, and a short walk to OCAD. It’s close to major hospitals, MaRS, Discovery District, shopping, cafés and restaurants. The College streetcar stops at the corner and the Bathurst and Spadina lines are closeby. Great neighbourhood.

The House: A cheerful Victorian equipped with dependable wifi, AC, and a kitchen that is fully-stocked for your use. The house is professionally cleaned bi-weekly.

The Room: On the second floor, its windows face west and it’s gorgeous. Double doors lead out to a generously-sized private deck that overlooks an attractive back-yard garden and the rooftops of the neighbourhood. It comes fully furnished with 2 sets of high-quality bedding, a double bed, early Canadiana 6-drawer pine dresser and an oak armoire from Scotland for hanging clothes. Beside the room is a bathroom stocked with towels and linens.

One other woman lives in the house, but on the ground floor at the back. A psychotherapist she has her own bathroom and entrance/exit.
