1 room + plenty of shared space available in a 2 bed 1 bath apartment on the 2nd floor, shared with 1 female roommate. $900/month - wifi & electricity included. Parking available for $100.

Great location in central Richmond — about a 10 minute walk to Richmond Centre & Brighouse Skytrain, 20 minutes to Lansdowne Centre & Garden City Shopping Centre, and a bus stop for the 408/405 right in front. Walmart is about 15 minutes by bus. Close to parks and schools and generally a quiet neighbourhood.

The building is an older 3-storey building in a redevelopment zone. There is currently no demolition date, but management has said redevelopment is still a couple years away. Please note that tenants here have relocation protections through the redevelopment process.

I’m currently cleaning up and refinishing the apartment, and management is also doing pest control inspections to ensure the unit stays clean. The bedroom and bathroom will be repainted white, and I’ve been given permission to paint/install things, so you’re welcome to personalize the room a bit too. :)

The room is officially available September 1, but my roommate has already moved out, so an earlier move-in is possible once you’re approved by management and added to the 1-year tenancy agreement.

The room can be furnished or unfurnished depending on what you need. I can provide the mirror, a shelf, clothing rack and the twin bed pictured if needed. However there is a decent amount of room in this apartment if you have your own furniture.

Please also note the bedroom has my twin sized bed for reference which comfortably fits in the open closet space, with room for a narrow 8” bedside table. The closet doors for the room have been removed but are available if you want to use them.

I’m a 30 y/o local Japanese Canadian female currently working downtown during the day in luxury retail. I love anything creative arts, fashion, music, coffee, animals, rest and relaxation <3 I’ve lived in this apartment for 5 years and I’m looking for someone equally chill, respectful and comfortable hanging out or giving each other space at times.

I have a small 12 lb Chihuahua x Mini Poodle mix who is allowed in the apartment, although he currently spends 99% of time at my parents because of my work schedule. The current agreement doesn’t allow additional pets, so unfortunately no other pets besides guide and service animals would be possible.
