About the room

One spacious room available starting September 1, in a 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Eau Claire, one of downtown Calgary’s most desirable neighbourhoods. Steps from Prince’s Island Park (2-minute walk) and the C-Train (5-minute walk). You are connected to everything the city has to offer.

The room is generously sized with a washroom immediately adjacent. The unit features ample storage throughout and a balcony to enjoy what is left of summer. The room comes furnished with a high-quality bed frame and mattress. Rest assured, you will sleep well here.

As for me, I am a 32-year-old lawyer working a hybrid schedule. I am away in Lethbridge 2 to 3 days a week, so you will have plenty of space to yourself. When I am home, I am either learning the saxophone, working on oil pastel art, reading, or enjoying my weekly Friday movie night. I love music, film, the arts, and good conversations (critical). I am easy-going, tidy, and respectful of shared space.

The ideal roommate would be a working professional with a chill, easy-going vibe, ideally someone on a hybrid schedule. Someone clean, respectful, and who brings positive energy into the space. I genuinely believe the person you share your home with shapes the trajectory of your life, so good energy matters here.

You are welcome to drink, live your life, and have friends over with mutual understanding, as long as it does not disrupt the household routine. Communication is key. The living room sofa converts into a bed, perfect for hosting a friend or two passing through town. Rent is 1100 + utilities (which is no more than $120-150). This is my first time doing this so feel free to ask me any questions that I may have omitted.
