The room is a large, bright private bedroom (approx. 20’ × 16’, 9’ ceilings) with closet in a spacious 800 sq. ft. 2-bedroom apartment. It can be rented furnished or unfurnished.

Rent is $1,300/month and includes hydro, water and high-speed internet. Underground parking is available for an additional $100/month.

Female preferred. Minimum 6-month term, with the option to continue month-to-month thereafter.

The apartment if fully furnished with a comfortable shared living/dining area, kitchen, bathroom and balcony with beautiful open views of the city and surrounding neighbourhood. It’s a great fit for a student or working professional looking for a clean, comfortable and conveniently located home. There is also a friendly cat, so you must be comfortable with cats.

The building is clean, quiet and well maintained, with ongoing improvements. Amenities include three fast-moving elevators, a large on-site laundry room (30+ machines) with app-based payment, paid visitor’s parking, 24-hour security and video surveillance, and mail/package delivery directly to your door.

The location is one of the biggest highlights. You’re steps from Cabbagetown and The Village, with Greektown, Yorkville and the Distillery District all easily accessible.

It’s especially convenient for students, with U of T, TMU and George Brown College approximately a 15–30 minute walk away. The subway is nearby and provides quick access throughout downtown, including approximately 15 minutes to the Eaton Centre.

For everyday essentials, No Frills, Food Basics, FreshCo, 24-hour Rabba, Loblaws and Longo’s are all approximately a 5–10 minute walk away. There is also convenient access to both the DVP and Gardiner Expressway.

I’m friendly, easygoing and pretty social. I work as a medical esthetician in downtown Toronto, so my schedule can get pretty busy and I usually work long hours, sometimes up to six days a week.

When I’m not working, I love cooking and baking, spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants and checking out fun/trending spots around the city. I also enjoy having friends over and entertaining from time to time, but I still like having a comfortable space to come home to and relax.

I’m pretty clean and organized and like keeping the apartment feeling nice and put together. I’d love a roommate who’s also clean and considerate, has their own thing going on but is still friendly and down to chat or hang out sometimes. I do have friends and family over occasionally, so I’d want someone who’s comfortable with the apartment feeling social from time to time.
