About the room
π Private Bedroom for Rent at 190 Lees Ave β Female Tenant Only
A private bedroom is available in a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment at 190 Lees Ave. The bathroom will be shared with the roommate.
We are looking for a responsible and trustworthy female tenant who does not smoke, drink alcohol, bring male guests home, or have pets. This arrangement would not be suitable for someone who snores loudly.
The bedroom is unfurnished. The current roommate has a washing machine that can be shared.
The apartment has large windows and plenty of natural light. The roommate is clean and tidy, and the unit is free of cockroaches and other pests.
Excellent location and building amenities:
- One-minute walk to Lees LRT station
- Five minutes to the University of Ottawa
- Seven minutes to Rideau
- 200 Lees, a University of Ottawa building, is right next door, making it very convenient for studying or meeting friends
- The building has a shared laundry room, swimming pool, gym, indoor basketball court, and outdoor tennis court
- Each unit includes a refrigerator, full-size oven, and microwave
- Building management responds quickly if any of these appliances need repairs
Rent and lease term:
Available in late August or starting September 1, 2026.
The rent is $850 per month for a long-term rental. A minimum one-year lease and a signed rental agreement are required. The rent offers excellent value for this location.
Water and hot water are included. The tenant is responsible for one-third of the total monthly electricity, internet, and tenant-insurance costs. There is an electricity subsidy, so there is usually little or no additional electricity charge as long as electricity is not wasted.
Paid parking is available through the building management and is not included in the rent.
About the roomies
You will have the private bedroom to yourself and will share the kitchen and bathroom with my daughter and me. My daughter is a University of Ottawa student, and we live in the living room. We are clean, responsible, straightforward, and easygoing.
