This is a room in a co-op home. We share chores, food and sometimes cooking, along with life’s highs and lows etc.. It’s a big old house, with plenty of shared space, most mod cons, a big garden, the subway less than a minute away…. The room itself is a reasonable size, bright and cheerful, and can be mostly furnished for those who need it. The Bloor/ Ossington neighbourhood has most of what most people might want, in an understated and slightly funky way. The neighbours are nice.

Hard to generalize: we represent a large range of ages and backgrounds. Perhaps you could say that we have a shared interest in maintaining our autonomy in an increasingly oppressive and intrusive bureaucratic and capitalist society, but not grandstanding about it, and that in our very different ways we’re all (harmlessly!) eccentric . This, and a love of cats.
