I’m looking for a roommate to share my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in Olympic Village. You would have your own bedroom and bathroom in the unit.

The room is spacious, lots of light (has a big south-facing window), fits a queen bed easily, has decent closet space, and your bathroom is right outside your bedroom door. The room is unfurnished, but can furnish for you with a bed if needed.

The unit has an open kitchen and living room with new appliances, a washing machine and dryer, and heating and AC, and solarium.

Available September 1st, October works too. Utilities not included, about ~$50 a month in addition to rent. I’m looking for a clean, reliable housemate (preferably female, and non-smoker). Rental term: Sep-Apr, possibility of extending to May-Aug

The building itself has a gym, rooftop patio BBQ area, and a bike storage room. The apartment is walking distance from transit (between the Expo and Canada lines of the Skytrain, and also just a few minutes from buses on either 2nd or Main Street). The building is right by the water and walking/bike paths along False Creek, and the grocery store is just a block away!

I’m 30 years old, I work in finance/accounting at a tech startup in downtown, so I’m out of the house most weekdays during work hours. I’m clean, in the mid-ground of extrovert/introvert, and I like to think of myself as a respectful roommate :) In the summer I love to go for bike rides, swim at the beach, and enjoy the city. The rest of the year, I love to read books, do crafts, do Indian classical dance, and cook in my spare time. I’m renting out this room because my boyfriend is heading to law school in Victoria in September. He’ll be back to visit about once a month, but I’ll also be gone the same amount to go visit him! He might be back in Vancouver next May, depending on his work term.
