This room has a balcony with a view! The home is located in the safe neighbourhood of Glenmore only blocks from the transit station. A 20 minute bus ride to UBCO and equidistant between the mall and downtown lakeside. The room is available October 01. The rent is reduced as I am looking for someone responsible enough to do light housekeeping (mostly keeping the kitchen clean and dishes washed, and garbage/recycle managed). Everyone in the home is either working or studying, so this is ideal for someone who likes to keep to themselves (although it is a polite and cordial atmosphere) and doesn’t like cooking and hanging out in the kitchen (because we all need to use the kitchen.) There is hiking 5 minutes away and grocery and starbucks/DQ/Subway within walking distance! Absolutely for non-smokers (not negotiable) as I am allergic to even the smoke on peoples clothes. Some are sensitive to heavy perfumes too. Not ideal for someone who hangs out in the house all day long (must be working or going to school or very busy.) Also not ideal for someone with odd hours who is awake walking around the house at night, making kitchen noises and in and out the front door at all hours of the night. Been there done that and it is problematic, as this can disturb people sleeping who have regular hours. It may sound restrictive, but I am actually pretty chill, and for the right person this can be ideal and what they are looking for!

Family home with student occupants and professional. I work and study from home mostly, and have only one non-adult student living in the home. He keeps to himself.
