• Room is available now. So would be able to start lease any time. Realistically thinking it will be October 1st, but would gratefully accommodate sept 1st; also able to be flexible for partial first month.

I am a nurse in my 30s, I primarily work daytime and evening shifts with the occasional night shift (1-2 overnight shifts per month). I am somewhat introverted and spend much of my spare time either in my room or walking/hiking with my dog, but I do prefer living with a house mate to being alone. When at home I am often in my room playing video games, consuming media (books/tv shows/youtube), or doing art projects. I do the majority of my socializing outside of the home, due to most of friends having children and thus being easier for me to visit them. I also play novice sports. My friends would describe me as considerate, conscientious and generally easy going. I like to keep common areas tidy but I am not picky about personal spaces so long as there is no permanent/significant damage. I prefer to avoid any overly strict rules outside of obvious human consideration. I have no issue with a housemate having occasional overnight guests or a reasonable number of friends over. I am not the kind of person that loses it over a few plates in the sink from time to time.

I also have an 8 year old male/desexed mixed breed poodle type dog name Marco. He has been professionally trained and is about as universally loved as it goes for a dog. While he has plenty of love to go around, he does not have a habit of soliciting attention from uninterested parties - so it will be up to you how much you wish to engage with him, if at all. For his sake I am unable/unwilling to risk accommodating most additional pets. When I am at work he will either go to daycare or hang out at home - he does not suffer from any sort of separation issues and typically sleeps in my absence.

My ideal roommate would be a considerate, mature student or working professional. Given I am female, I do have a preference for a female housemate, however I am open to others. I would also prefer someone who likes my dog, or at the very least doesn’t hate dogs.
