About the room

Looking for a longterm female roommate for October 1st! (Could start as early as September 1st)

Large and very bright bedroom in beautiful two-bedroom apartment! The room is available as early as September 1st, but there is some flexibility on the start date leading up to our lease renewal on October 1st. The apartment is on the 11th floor, and has large bright windows and a terrace with a beautiful view of the mountain!

The entire apartment is fully furnished except the room you will be taking so no need to worry about buying and moving large furniture! Also, my roommate is selling most of the furniture in her room which is another extra perk for an easy move-in!

The location is between Atwater and Guy-Concordia metro (a 4-minute walk from each one) and a 10-minute walk from Concordia University. There are grocery stores and public transportation within walking distance! The building also has a gym and a laundry room downstairs. You could be taking the room as early as September 1st but the lease ends September 31st and will be renewed then for a year. The rent for the entire apartment will be 2,158$/month as of October with heating and electricity included. Starting then, you will be paying 1,230$/month for the room as it is significantly bigger than my room. However, if you end up taking the room September 1st, with total rent currently being 2,137$/month you will be paying 1,218$ for September. Internet and insurance are not included and would be $50.09/month per person ($34.49 for home internet + $15.6 for renter’s insurance per person).

About the roomies

I am a 28 year old Mexican/Peruvian girl currently working full-time in sales. I studied studio art at Concordia University, and love drawing and digital painting! I’m easygoing, friendly, love plants, and care a lot about keeping a clean, harmonious living space. I’m always down for roommate dinners, movie nights, deep philosophical talks, or any fun activities you might suggest! I also love to gym and play tennis. What I’m looking for: A female roommate ideally in her late 20’s early 30’s who is quiet, respectful and very clean (cleanliness is super important to me!).
