Looking for a clean, respectful and easygoing roommate to share a comfortable home near 17th Avenue SE in Forest Lawn.

This is a shared home, but you’ll have your own private bedroom and share the bathroom and common areas. Utilities are included in the rent, including high-speed internet, so there’s no need to worry about splitting a bunch of monthly bills.

The home is very clean and well looked after, and I’m looking for someone who feels the same way about their living space. I’m not expecting someone to be obsessive about cleaning, but I do expect you to clean up after yourself, respect the shared spaces and help keep the place nice.

Cleanliness Matters

This is probably the biggest thing I want to be upfront about.

I keep a very clean home and I expect my roommate to do the same.

I’m looking for someone who cleans up after themselves, doesn’t leave dishes sitting around for days, respects the bathroom and shared spaces, and understands that keeping a home clean is a shared responsibility.

If you’re clean, considerate and respectful of other people’s space, we’ll probably get along great.

A Little About Me

I work full-time in supply chain, Monday to Friday, so during the week I’m generally pretty quiet and keep a fairly normal routine. Most evenings are relaxed — I might watch something, listen to music, cook, or just unwind after work.

That said, I’m definitely not a “never make a sound and never have fun” kind of person.

I like to get out and do things. I enjoy music, hiking, exploring Calgary, trying new restaurants and finding new places to eat. I also enjoy going out and having a few drinks or having friends over from time to time. I like a home that can be relaxed and quiet during the week but still has a bit of personality on the weekend.

Basically, I’m looking for someone who is respectful, responsible and easy to live with — not someone who wants to live in a monastery!
