30 years old + STRONGLY PREFERRED

For rent is a clean, large private room with a massive closet, outstanding view in a condo in downtown Toronto. Kitchen, fridge, living room, shared by all three tenants. Available from the 1st of October, a 12 month commitment is strongly preferred due to the condo corporation’s rules on short term commitments. Rent is $1200 monthly, and first and last are due before moving in.

The owner of the condo smokes cigarettes in his room. It is preferred if the incoming tenant is okay with cigarette smell. We would STRONGLY PREFER the next tenant to he in their 30s or 40s, and be male.

The artist tenant has a cat, and it is strongly preferred the next tenant be a cat person, as we care about the cat a lot, and will not tolerate any abuse toward the cat. If you are allergic to cats, this may not be the room for you.

Shared washroom with one other tenant. Cleaning and garbage duties are shared between tenants as well. The building has a gym and a movie theater to rent if you want to have a lot of friends over for a private screening of a movie, and, there are guest accommodations on that floor if they want to spend the night.

Walking distance to streetcar and subway stations, three grocery stores within a 5 minute walk, 24 hour convenience stores near by, and the best pizza place on College is close as well.

The owner of the condo is a semi-retired professional in the tech and finance industries. The other current tenant is a self-employed artist/comedian/podcast host-producer. We keep to ourselves mostly, but we are friends too, we are both welcoming and friendly should the new tenant want advice, or some help with various tasks or suggestions on fun things to do in the city.

The prospective tenant would ideally be someone who shares the same dedication to keeping the condo clean and tidy. The fridge is shared between three people, the kitchen is outstanding, new appliances, and the common living room area is great if you want to have a friend or two over.
