Room for rent in the heart of the Plateau, $1000 + utilities/wifi (avg. ~$90/month), available Sept 1st, short-term to start with room to extend. 
Centrally located in the Plateau, in a new-build 2-bedroom with a secure underground bike storage room and in-unit laundry, two-minute walk from Parc La Fontaine, 12 minutes to Sherbrooke or Mont-Royal metro, and a block from Duluth’s cobblestones and Rachel street with all its restaurants and shops. 
The unit is ~900 sq ft, split over two levels, kitchen and living room on the main floor, two bedrooms and a shared bathroom below, with lots of natural light on both floors, AC throughout, an air exchanger keeping the lower level fresh, and a rainfall shower with heated floors in the bathroom. Modern kitchen with a central island, a robot vacuum/mop doing the dirty work, and a huge TV for movie nights. 
The room currently has a double bed (swappable for a single), a large desk and chair with a 28“ monitor, a nightstand, and a fan, plus windows that can be tinted for more daytime privacy and a large closet. Can be rented furnished or unfurnished, price adjusts accordingly.

A bit about me: 27, hybrid employee (1-2 days in office, rest WFH), dog person through and through, I petsit for friends whenever I get the chance. Anglophone slowly stumbling my way through French. I am Lebanese, and proudly a Palestine supporter. On a good day you’ll find me at a picnic with friends or reading in a hammock at the park, I love getting outside, hiking, canoeing, biking, and I’m currently attempting to become a badminton/boxing person (results pending).
