About the room
I have a private bedroom opening up in a bright, eclectic 2-bedroom apartment located 1 block south of Dundas & Ossington, steps from Trinity Bellwoods.
The Apartment: Situated in a mixed-use character building with recent renovations. Standout features include two separate living rooms (lots of flexible space for us to arrange together) and a large private balcony overlooking a cute local café. Common areas are partially furnished (open to collaborative furnishing/decorating).
The Bedroom: North/NE-facing with 1.5 windows (great natural light), with space for a double bed and a small desk. Includes a dedicated private closet located directly outside the bedroom door.
Rent & Financials
• Rent: $1,325/month (locked—next allowable increase won’t happen until at least September 2027).
• Utilities: Split equally (hydro, gas/heat, and high-speed internet—typically ~$100-125 month each.
• Lease: Month-to-month with possibility of lease takeover
Accessibility & Sensory Info
• Physical Access: ~16 stairs up to the front door; no elevator or ramp access.
• Scent/Sensory: Not a scent-free space. Incense, wood, herbs, and occasional essential oils are burned/diffused inside. Happy to discuss scent-reduction needs, but cannot offer a strictly scent-free environment.
House Culture & Values
• Values: Conscious humans, who are grounded in decolonial values. • Chores & Communication: Direct, transparent communication with space for mutual feedback. Chores are managed through both individual accountability and collective capacity—aiming for a clean, functional home without dishes sitting in the sink for days.

About the roomies
Kayden- West Coast transplant, doing graduate studies at UofT, with a previous background in community work. Queer.
Ambivert like to balance solo recharge time with shared hangs, long walks through the city or nature, and cooking for/with people when my schedule permits. Daily life usually takes me out of the house.
