Included: I am working on furnishing the apartment’s shared spaces. If you have furniture or decor you want to bring to the unit, I am sure we can make that work!

PRICE: $1400 (+ approx. $250 monthly shared expenses detailed below)

Additional Information: My dog Scout will live in the apartment most of the time; he really is a good boy! I cannot live with a cat because I am allergic, but if you have another pet we can explore if ours are compatible Second bedroom (mine) is a loft without a door and sound travels to/from the shared living space; respect for each other’s quiet time is crucial Laundry is shared with the first floor tenants, it is located in the basement I love cooking and baking, so I have lots of fun kitchen gadgets to share! Ice cream maker, kitchenaid stand mixer, bundt pans, bannetons for sourdough bread, pasta roller, waffle iron, etc.

I’m a 30yo woman, I work for a healthcare union, and I’m involved in leftist organizing in the neighbourhood. I’ve lived in midtown for 6 years and I love the easy access to the ravines and great transit! I love food, language learning, lifting weights, DnD, and knitting. I work from home a few days a week, I have a car and a Costco membership, and I prioritize hosting gatherings of my friends and family. I am looking to live with someone who has a similarly full calendar, a community-orientated lifestyle, and who commits to a culture of care. I’d like to be able to socialize with the person I live with and still give each other the space and privacy we need. I value checking in regularly and communicating about expectations and boundaries. Happy to be communal about shared issues, even better if you’re up for occasionally taking my dog out for a potty break if I’m having a late night. I’m also realistic and I’m happy to lend a hand when life gets chaotic, or plan grocery hauls together. My non-negotiable is that the apartment be LGBTQIA+ friendly & anti-racist. Bonus points if you speak any of the languages I’m learning (French, Italian, Russian).
