The house is on a 1/2 acre lot and is located in South Nanaimo close to Quality Foods, University Village, and VIU. The room is around 13 x 11 ft with the option of having a desk and chair in the room (shown in the photos). Utilities are included (gas, hydro, water, garbage disposal, internet, laundry) and renters insurance is required at the renter’s expense. Parking space is also available. Other household services that are included is yard maintenance and biweekly professional cleaning services for common areas. There will be 4 other people living in the house (myself included). The bathroom is mainly shared with 2 other people, but I also use the shower since the downstairs bathroom is only a half bath (person in the master bedroom has their own private washroom). There is a cat and a dog living in the house, both of them are older and well behaved. There are also 2 outdoor cats. Small animals are welcome with a pet deposit. If you have a larger animal, we can discuss it further if it’s the right fit. Smoking is permitted on the property as long as it is outdoors. Queer friendly and inclusive household 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Me (24): I primarily go by Wes (they/them). I work from home, so having a quiet space during weekday working hours is important to me. I have a dog named Jasper and 2 outdoor cats named Mango and Tango. I usually keep to myself, but I would love to find people that would be willing to have board game/TCG/movie nights. I am also a gamer, so definitely a huge plus if you like playing multiplayer video games!

Other people in the house are my friend Steven (he/him - 24), who has an indoor cat named Pearl, and my brother Michael (he/him - 21). The last person living in the house is moving out by mid October, so I will be looking for another roommate to take over their room as well.
