Hey Squamish! I’m looking for a roommate to share my downtown townhouse with me and my lab mix pup. Available for October 01 or 15th but can be flexible for dates if needed.

ABOUT THE ROOM(S) FOR RENT:

• Renting 1 or 2 adjacent bedrooms with a private full bathroom. 1 room is $1550, 2 rooms is $2050.
• A great setup for someone who wants a bedroom/home office/private bath!
• The larger room is 11’ x 10’ and fits a queen bed, furniture, and has a decent-sized closet. 2nd room is slightly smaller.
• West-facing mountain, grass, and tree views.
• Private full bathroom with a bathtub.

ABOUT THE HOUSE:

• 3-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom end-unit townhouse in downtown Squamish.
• 1700+sq ft, natural light and mountain views
• Single garage is for gear storage – lots of space for toys!
• Ample street parking nearby.
• House is furnished except for the bedrooms to rent. Can make space for your things though, depending on what you’re bringing! :)
• Well-equipped kitchen (Vitamix, Soda Stream, gas stove and fireplace, Global knives, Weber bbq, etc)
• Separate laundry room with front-loading machines
• Large flex-space off the garage with pull-up bar, rock rings, weights, plyo box. etc.
• Guest room space with queen-sized cabinet bed and bedside table in the gym area downstairs

THE PRICE:

• Rent depends on whether you want 1 or 2 of the available bedrooms. Please see above.
• Bills are split for hydro, natural gas, internet. ~$85/mo in summer, goes up in winter.

ABOUT US (your potential new roomies!)

Me: Self-employed yoga teacher and HR professional - I work flexible hours I spend my time on trails with the dog, climbing, skiing, camping, doing yoga, traveling. I’m usually pretty quiet at home. Reading, board games, working out. Occasionally have friends for dinner but not often. It’s important to me to have a healthy roommate here. (ie: no excessive drinking or excessive substance use, etc) Reasonably clean but not fastidious. The pup: 5 year old lab mix. Loves all people but is dog selective. He’d love a roommate who’s a dog person and wants to be friends. Has lived with other dogs before. Does better with older female dogs and dogs with chill personalities.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Single tenant. No couples please.
• Financially stable, employed, responsible, and on time with rent/bills.
• Please love dogs! Bonus points if you’ve lived with a high-energy breed before and enjoyed it.
• Kind and assertive communicator so that we can maturely address any issues that might come up.
• Would be great to share some meals, have the odd drink after work, and to get to know each other.
