room for rent $733.33/month + utilities

we’re looking to rent out the extra bedroom in our 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house! we’ve recently moved in ourselves, so we’re still getting settled and making the place feel like home.

rent is $733.33/month, not including hydro, internet, or tenant insurance. utilities would be split between the household.

about the household: there are currently 3 of us living here, and we’re all very close more like friends/family than just roommates. we enjoy hanging out together, watching movies, gaming, having conversations, and just chilling around the house. because of that, we’d ideally love someone who enjoys a friendly, social household and would be comfortable becoming part of that environment rather than someone who prefers to completely keep to themselves.

we also have a LOT of animals 😂 there are 2 dogs, 7 cats, and a tarantula living here. they’re all part of the family, so being comfortable around animals is definitely important. the house can get pretty lively at times because of that, although it’s generally quiet and relaxed most of the time.

one important thing: this is an LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive household, and that is a must. everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable in their own home, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely shares that mindset.

we’re all fairly busy with our own lives, so everyone has their own space and things going on, but we do like having a home where people can hang out together and feel comfortable.

we’re a little found family of three who somehow ended up sharing a house full of animals 😂 we’re all close friends and genuinely enjoy spending time together, whether that’s gaming until an unreasonable hour, going on random adventures, watching movies, grabbing food, or just existing in the same room doing our own thing.

two of us are hoping to go back to school next September, so we’re definitely a household with goals and lots of things going on, but we also know how to have fun and make the most of our time together. we’re pretty easygoing and love meeting new people, trying new things, and making memories.

our house is very much a “come hang out in the living room even if you’re not doing anything” kind of home. we’re not expecting everyone to be attached at the hip, but we’d love someone who actually enjoys having roommates who can become friends rather than everyone just disappearing into their bedrooms 24/7 but trust that’s also okay to do sometimes obviously, we do it as well when we just want out own chill time.
