This is a private bedroom in a spacious, modern three-bedroom apartment of approximately 1,100 sq. ft. The apartment is shared with only one other resident, as the third bedroom is used as a home office.

The bedroom is offered unfurnished, while the common areas are fully furnished and equipped. They include a large living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, in-unit laundry and a private terrace. Utilities and high-speed internet are included in the monthly rent.

The building offers excellent shared amenities, including a fully equipped gym, coworking spaces, a ping-pong table and a welcoming resident lounge—known as the “urban chalet”—with a fireplace. There is also a shared rooftop terrace with a BBQ, separate from the apartment’s private terrace, where BBQs are not permitted.

The apartment is located in Ville-Marie, approximately an 8-minute walk from Frontenac metro station. The Green Line provides direct access to downtown Montréal, with Berri-UQAM only three stops away. The shops, cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and local businesses along Ontario Street East in Hochelaga are also within easy walking distance, offering a lively neighbourhood atmosphere close to home.

Residents may be eligible to obtain a City of Montréal residential street-parking permit. Indoor parking may also be rented separately in the building for approximately $230 per month, subject to availability.

This is a well-maintained and comfortable home with a calm, friendly atmosphere. It would be especially well suited to a professional, someone relocating to Montréal, a person on a temporary assignment or someone looking for a high-quality pied-à-terre for a few months or longer.

The room could be available as of March 31, 2027, or possibly earlier.

You would be sharing the apartment with me only. I am a professional working in real estate and property development. I regularly work from home and use the third bedroom as my office, so a calm environment during the day is important to me.

I am friendly, sociable and active. I enjoy going to the gym, discovering restaurants, attending events and occasionally having friends over for dinner, but this is not a party apartment. My boyfriend visits periodically but does not live here, and we are both respectful of everyone’s space and privacy.

Cleanliness is very important to me. I keep the entire home clean, orderly and well maintained, and I am looking for someone who genuinely shares the same standards and contributes proactively to the daily upkeep of the apartment.

I would enjoy living with someone who is friendly and open to an occasional conversation, meal or outing, while also appreciating that we each have our own routines, friendships and independence. I believe that a successful shared home is based on mutual respect, open communication and a fair contribution to household responsibilities.

The home is LGBTQ+ friendly, and finding someone with a genuinely compatible lifestyle is especially important to me.
