Hi! We have a furnished room with private washroom and living room available in our basement in Beddington Heights.

You’d have:

1. Private bedroom (8ft x 13ft)
2. Private living room
3. Private washroom
4. Furnished place
5. Private entrance
6. Shared laundry
7. Semi-private kitchen amenities in your space (details below) + shared kitchen to complete
8. Private fridge and freezer, plate, utensils, airfryer. Kettle
9. $900 a month + 25% utilities (usually $50-80) + internet included
10. One bus to downtown and airport walking distance
11. Lots of street parking available
12. Walking distance to grocery, gym, nose hill park, and pizza Seniores!!!

There isn’t a full kitchen downstairs, but we’ve set things up so you can do most of your cooking down there. If you need the regular oven or dishwasher, you can use the kitchen upstairs.

There’s usually lots of street parking, and internet is included. Grocery store and Anytime Fitness within walking distance. Nose Hill is also close by. There’s a bus stop a short walk away that makes getting downtown or to the airport pretty easy. One bus to downtown.

We’re looking for someone for a short-term stay for now, and the move-in date is flexible. We don’t really have a preference on who rents it, just someone respectful and easy to live with. No smoking.

Just to be clear, it’s being rented as a room rather than a separate suite since the basement isn’t a legal suite. That said, you have your own bedroom, living room, bathroom and entrance, so it has a lot of the privacy of having your own place without the cost of renting a full suite.

We’re brand new homeowners (literally, super new)! There are only two of us in a five bedroom house, so we have some extra space and thought we’d open it up to someone who’s looking for a place. We’ve been renters our whole lives, so we know what it’s like to be on the other side of this and want to make things as comfortable and easy as possible. We’re pretty outgoing, active and outdoorsy, and we’re usually up to something on the weekends. Ideally, we’re looking for someone we genuinely get along with and can have a good, respectful relationship with at home. We’re open to anyone, any gender or age is welcome. :)
