An executive four-level townhouse directly across the street from Woodbine Beach, the largest of Toronto’s four beaches. This is the smaller of two private rooms available for winter, November 1 to March 31, on a bright third-floor guest level shared with one other room-mate.

It’s a bright, west-facing room with a brand new queen bed and your own smart lock, quiet, sun-filled, and private. The floor also has a dedicated workstation with a 32 inch monitor, a fully renovated shared bathroom (heated touch faucet, motion-sensor lighting, Japanese bidet toilet), and a laundry closet, all steps from your door. Downstairs you get full use of the main kitchen, dining room, backyard, and front veranda, plus wifi fast enough (900+ Mbps) to work or stream from anywhere in the house.

This house has spent seven years earning Superhost status and over 200 five-star guest reviews for being spotless, beautifully kept, and genuinely comfortable. Every winter this room takes a break from short-term guests for one great room-mate instead, so you get that same guest-favourite standard of living on a proper month to month lease.

The neighbourhood sells itself: two minutes to the boardwalk and the sand, minutes to the Queen Street strip for restaurants, pubs, and coffee, a TTC bus stop right across the street, the 501 Queen streetcar close by, and a Bike Share Toronto station nearby. Safe, friendly, and one of the most walkable pockets of the city.

I live in the house full-time with my very good, well-behaved Lab and Retriever mix, so you’ll have a real housemate who cares about the place, not an absentee landlord. I’ve hosted travellers from around the world here for seven years and bring that same Superhost-level care to room-mates. Looking for one working professional for the season: tidy, quiet, and respectful of shared space. This is single occupancy, no overnight guests, and no parties or events, given it’s a shared home. Not a fit if you have dog allergies. First and last month’s rent and landlord references are required to move in.
