About the room Edit Situated on a quiet street in the Beaches, this house is a block from the beach and is steps from amenities such as TTC, grocery store, cafes, restaurants and more. The room available is the primary bedroom of the house and is located on the 3rd floor. Also included in your space is a large 4-piece bathroom. Laundry, in the basement, is shared. This bedroom is part of a large luxury detached home and the kitchen is shared. One parking spot is also included. Ideally looking for a working professional female who is sociable, but also appreciates a balance between conversation and quiet. Also ideally looking for someone who does not have a lot of stuff (I will be listing my home for sale at some point) and so the room needs to maintain a minimalist/clean look. Tenancy is month to month with a minimum of two months notice from me in terms of any changes. Open to move-in part way through the month; rent would be prorated. Note that furnishings include what you see in the photos.. This room has a fireplace and floor to ceiling windows (wall to wall); lake views in winter. Black out curtains also included. The home is south-facing so you will enjoy some lovely sunrises and sunsets poking through. Use of the backyard and front porch also included.

About the roomies

I’m a single mom and working professional. I’m very connected to my community. My two daughters (ages 11 and 14) live with me half the time. Also living here is a roomie who moved into the basement bedroom area this summer. Everything is going very well so far. We are all on the same schedule of quiet hours between 9:30pm to 7am, and we are looking for the same in another roommate. We work hard during the week and so uninterrupted sleep and respect is important. Footsteps and noise above while sleeping should be kept to a minimum.
