I’m a retired teacher who has a furnished room available within my owner occupied shared accommodation household, located near Mill Street and Stirling Avenue in Kitchener. Other than myself, residents are nonsmoking females. It’s a pretty calm environment. Transit service is bus route #3 and #16, each of which has a stop within an easy walk from the house. The closest Ion LRT station is a 10 minute walk or three minute bus ride away. The room is furnished with two dressers, single wide closet (with two closet rods), desk, chair, lamps and a single bed. The home has a large lot and for anybody who is interested, gardening can be arranged. There’s a small park located two houses away, with a pathway beside a creek…and lots of ducks.

At the moment there is only one other person here besides me. She’s 38, tends to be quiet and loves to be learning something new all the time. If you’re into inline skating she’d be right there with you. I’m usually busy with one project or another either in the house or in my garage building. I enjoy sharing meals when that’s possible…and yes…I do know how to cook them.
