We are looking for a new roommate for our shared house near Main and 17th, between Mount Pleasant and Riley Park. The room is a small, east-facing bedroom on the upper floor of the house. The house is a big, spacious house with large communal spaces inside and outside. Between five roommates, we share a large kitchen and three bathrooms. We have a large living room and a reading nook/study which both have gas fires, a large deck on the upper floor and in-house laundry. No smoking or pets.

We are four professionals in our late twenties, thirties and early forties, working in education, carpentry, journalism and the arts. We all have chosen to live in a shared home because we love the sociable element of group living and are looking for someone with a similar mindset.

We are all busy, so socialising is ad hoc, but we host regular dinners and the occasional party.
