Room sublet available at a gorgeous 4-bedroom house located in the peaceful, tree-filled Oakwood Village area (St Clair West and Arlington). The room comes fully furnished, including a queen-size bed, desk, closet, and drawers. There’s a (free) laundry in the basement, so you won’t need to walk in the snow to the nearest laundromat. The upstairs area, where your room is located, has three rooms and a shared bathroom. Downstairs by the kitchen there is another shared bathroom (no shower). In the basement, there is a fourth room, (and an additional bathroom) but the whole basement area is occupied by one of the roomies, so the only shared space down there is the laundry/dryer machines.

7min walk to the St Clair streetcar stop, 3min walk to the 90 Vaughan bus (shows up every 10-12 minutes with speedy connections to either Cedarvale or St Clair West stations), 20min walk to both Cedarvale and St Clair West stations.

7min walk to the nearest No Frills supermarket (St Clair and Alberta), close to several shops, cafés, restaurants, and amenities on both St Clair West and Rogers Rd.

5min walk to the Cedarvale Ravine (ideal if you love daily walks in nature)

You will be sharing the house with three mature roomies (all over 30) who are all super chill and welcoming. The house is international, with two roomies from the US, one from Ethiopia, and one from Brazil (which you’ll be temporarily replacing). We keep a nice balance between sharing engaging conversations and social moments, and keeping to ourselves. All the roomies are/were graduate students, so the house is particularly open to grad students or mature professionals who are settling in Toronto and trying to find a permanent place to stay. We have a weekly cleaning schedule and try to keep the place as organized as possible.
