In a fantastic area less than a 5 min drive from the ocean, the US border, schools, parks, gyms, shopping & all the amenities, this is an ideal location for someone looking to live in a quiet beach town but still near the big city. It is about a 45 min drive to downtown Vancouver. Or, if you’re into horse or wine country, Langley is the Eastern neighbouring city filled with beautiful orchards & farm fields. There are also mountains & several lakes within a few hours drive all around, so there’s a bit of everything. It’s also a 2-hour drive to Seattle! If you don’t drive, it is right next to a major bus stop. We live in a quiet residential area with lots of families, retirees etc., so someone considerate is a must. No smoking, drugs or partying allowed.

The room itself is unfurnished & very spacious, with laminate flooring, a walk-in closet, ensuite 1/2 bathroom, & large window overlooking a patio & very large yard.

The full bathroom is ours, but the shower/tub would be shared with you of course (please spray it down after use with sanitizing spray that I will provide).

There’s a large living / dining room area next to a quaint, country-style kitchen with a dishwasher & lots of sunlight.

Ensuite laundry is downstairs, shared with 1 other suite. Utilities & fast wifi are all included for a total of $1100 monthly + $550 damage deposit. 1 month notice is required for move-out. (We are animal-lovers so a small, friendly pet would be considered for an extra fee, but unfortunately no dogs are allowed.)

I am a single mother with shared parenting time with my 2 very sweet, pre-teen children. We have an amazing cat that we all adore, so you must be good with cats & kids!

Because of my children & pre-verbal autistic son, I do require a background check; it is vital for us to find a roommate that we can really trust.

I am only looking for a temporary roommate currently, & someone who is comfortable looking out for our cat & plants on occasion as I do travel, especially when my children are not with me. But I am open to discussing options. :-)

We are a very artistic, creative family, & I am a musician amongst other things. We are also very into film!

I am deeply spiritual & believe in having good energy & feng shui in the home, so with that being said – cleanliness is important to us, & you must be okay with incense & (unscented) candles.
