The house:

Spacious and renovated two storey home (large common spaces, two full bathrooms) Abundant free street parking (no permit required) In-house laundry (large washer and dryer) Shared kitchen on the main floor has a breakfast nook, stainless steel appliances, new dishwasher, and is fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking / other small appliances The shared living room features a dining and seating area, including a 55” 4K Smart TV The house has a large fenced in front and back yard, including two raised garden beds (and room for more) We have a giant covered patio in the back, which is great for BBQs (even in the winter!) There’s also a separately rented garden suite downstairs with its own entrance

The room:

Bright bedroom on the main floor (not basement!) of the house Includes a queen bed frame and mattress (other items in the photos aren’t included) There’s a large closet in the room as well The room has a semi-private modern bathroom which includes a large shower and rainfall shower head (there’s also another full bathroom on the 2nd floor that can be used if needed, Wes and Luke use that one as their primary bathroom) The room has its own modern bathroom on the main floor (shared only with the occasional guest), with a large shower and rainfall shower head. There’s also a second full bathroom upstairs, which we (Wes and Luke) use as our primary bathroom

Safeway, grocery stores, shops, cafes, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Kitsilano Community Centre and year-round Sunday farmers market right around the corner.

Buses #2, #9, #99, and #14 nearby: about 15 minutes to downtown or UBC, with easy connections to VGH and the Canada Line at Broadway-City Hall.

Hi! We’re Wes and Luke, two roommates in our mid-to-late 30s, looking for a third roommate to share our home with. Our current roommate Jess is off to bigger and better things, so we’re hoping to find someone as great as she is to live here with us. We’ve been here since 2021 and are ideally looking for a roommate who shares the same values, interests, and living preferences.

We’re mature, responsible, and tidy roommates who like to spend our free time keeping active outdoors - summer weekends are spent playing beach volleyball, hiking, biking, golfing, soccer, and enjoying backyard BBQs. In the winter we like to hit the ski hills, go for rainy runs, hang out in the climbing gym, or watch a good film or play board games in the living room before going to bed early.

We’ve each been living in shared accommodations for much of our adult lives, so we like to think we’re pretty good at it by now. We appreciate being able to hang out with housemates: the occasional weekend hike, house dinners, running errands, etc. We’re looking for a communicative and respectful person with similar interests to share our beautiful home with. Our house party days and weeknights staying up past 11 pm are long over, so please keep that in mind!
