Looking for a female roommate for a partially furnished bedroom in a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom shared apartment in Vanier. Available November 1, but an earlier move-in can be discussed.

The room is $700/month plus a share of hydro and gas. The furniture currently in the room is included, including the bed, desk, dresser, and other furniture shown in the photos. There is still plenty of open space for your own belongings.

The house has in-unit laundry, and heat, water, and internet are included in rent. Hydro and gas are split between the three roommates. The home is non-smoking and there is a cat who stays in his owner’s room whenever she isn’t home, but may spend time in the common areas when she is.

The location has convenient access to public transit, with groceries, shopping, and other amenities nearby. uOttawa and downtown are also accessible by bus.

First month’s rent is required as the deposit. Landlord approval is required, including a credit check, tenant insurance, and either a guarantor or a suitable previous-landlord reference.

You’ll be living with two young female professionals and a friendly cat. We’re both working, gamers, and generally pretty nerdy, so someone who shares some of those interests would be a great fit, but it’s definitely not a requirement. We like to keep the home comfortable, clean, and respectful, and are looking for someone who is considerate and easygoing.
