2 BLOCKS FROM UofA Campus St. Jean in beautiful Bonnie Doon Neighbourhood! Free UofA Student shuttle between this French campus and the English Main Campus! Close to bus, train, and Bonnie Doon Mall, Mill Creek Ravine and the River Valley! Our dentist and family doctor are a block away and are both accepting new clients! 3 story newer house with 2 furnished bedrooms for rent on the 2nd floor. One has a walk-in closet, and the other has a regular closet (so will get a $25 discount). Both rooms will share one bathroom across the hall from the rented rooms and is stocked with towels, cloths, TP, PT, cleaners, etc. Around the corner is the 2nd floor laundry room that we will all share and only use the provided scent-free cleaning products & tools. Chores will be shared by all house occupants (if your situation prevents you from contributing in this way - we are open to increasing to a higher rent to account for that). Rent includes shared groceries where I’ll provide most of it and you can buy some here and there to fill in &/or share as needed. Groceries will be available for you to make your own food, and there is often leftovers from our meals available for you to eat or take for lunch, etc. We have a beautiful backyard that lets you feel the stress leaving while you walk through it! Street parking only. No Cable TV. Internet included with Prime and Netflix on the TV.

Also “FRENCH-FRIENDLY”, “JAPANESE-FRIENDLY”, “INTERNATIONAL STUDENT-FRIENDLY”, “DIABETIC-FRIENDLY” and “FAITH FRIENDLY”… but those options weren’t on the website check-list. Both Christians and LGBTQ+ have lived harmoniously and respectfully here in this house - becoming fast friends for life! NO PETS! But be aware there is a cat that lives in the basement with the in-laws, so you will see it outside from time to time. NO smoking or vaping or drugs of any kind, not even outside. NON-DRINKERS or only occasional drinkers preferred. We love experimenting with food and often need “taste-testers” to give us feedback. You will also be welcome to join family meals when we do pot-lucks with the in-laws a couple of times a month. We are looking to hire someone to do snow removal and help with yardwork (any arrangement would be handled separately from rent). If you are chosen to move in, you will not be treated distantly as a stranger in the house paying rent… please be prepared to become family (who still pays rent - LOL!)!
