About the room

My current roommate wants to move out because of footsteps noises from upstairs (mostly just walking sounds, no talking or music). Noise perception is subjective so I can’t say if it’d be bothering to you. The apartment is quite old so that’s probably why.

Good things about the apartment are:

  1. good location, 5min walk away from McGill if you’re a student; there are cafes & restaurants & convenient stores nearby
  2. bed, other furniture & kitchenware are available; for details
  3. newly furnished

About the roomies

  1. quiet, chill, respectful
  2. like cooking and experimenting new recipes
  3. I’m a phd student and I don’t have many classes; I spend quite a bit of time at home

If you don’t mind the footsteps, I hope you:

  1. like asian food bc it’s very important to me that we can enjoy food together (I like sharing!!!)
  2. keep a peaceful and respectful home environment. I don’t expect complete silence but I appreciate being considerate of each other. Music? Yes!
  3. are okay with no overnight guests. Daytime visits are fine, and sometimes I invite my boyfriend over for lunch or dinner.
  4. keep the environment clean
