Larger bedroom available in 2 bed basement suite of heritage house right off Main & King Ed. Rent is $1050 not including utilities, which are split with the landlords who live upstairs (we pay 1/3). Internet is split with myself (~$32 each). Suite has a dishwasher as well as washer & dryer in-unit. Tons of street parking in the area.

Next to #3 Main and #25 UBC bus routes, close to #8 Fraser/Downtown on one side and Canada Line skytrain station & Cambie street on the other. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby for all your errands, as well as Hillcrest & Queen Elizabeth Park.

Ideal for single professional or student, must be mature and respectful of the shared space. I’m not a neat freak by any means and don’t expect you to be either, just common sense stuff like not leaving garbage everywhere or old food in the fridge for ages etc.

PLEASE NOTE: The landlords live upstairs with their two young kids who do make kid noises sometimes. They also have chickens that live in the yard and sing the song of their people in the morning. This does not interfere with enjoyment of suite but I do want to be transparent as I know that will be a dealbreaker for some people.

**Another note: the pics of the main area from previous tenants, as my roommate who just left used it mainly as a sewing room.

I am a mid-thirties woman working at VGH on a regular 9-5 schedule. I keep things pretty low-key these days and spend a lot of time reading, gaming (I do love a cozy game), and trying not to doomscroll while still remaining informed. I love physical activity and got into lifting over the last couple years; prior to that I was doing a lot of aerial hoop and bendy stuff but haven’t as much lately because of an injury. I’m hoping to go back to school for nursing or physiotherapy eventually but we will see where life takes me!
