Hey! I have a room for rent in my 2-bed, 2-bath laneway house in Kits (West 10th & MacDonald). Looking for a female roommate, and it’s just the two of us in the house.

The room is on the smaller side, but it’s really cozy and cute! Perfect if you don’t have a ton of stuff… granted, there’s a good-sized closet for all your things. I’m upstairs with my own room and bathroom, so we both have our own space.

Looking for a mature housemate who’s kind and friendly, but most of all respectful. Clean, tidy and honest are big ones for me too. A big plus if we have a similar lifestyle! Would work best for someone who’s out of the house during the day, like a student or someone working in office or hybrid. Would love someone who wants to stay a while.

Must be okay with dogs! My mini bernedoodle lives in Kelowna but will come stay from time to time.

Heads up, someone’s living in the room right now so it looks a little different, but the photos show how it’ll be set up when you move in. There’s a few more additions to make the space more comfortable including a mirror behind the door, shelf and hooks on the wall, and a “dresser” type organizer in the closet for clothes + hanging room.

A bit about me: I’m 28, from Kelowna, and a Master’s student at UBC. I spend most of my days at school with a few remote days here and there. I’m pretty active, and I like coming home to a clean, calm space. I’m friendly and always down to chat, but I also totally get needing your own space. I’ll also be heading back to the Okanagan for stints, so you’ll have the place to yourself for some stretches (bonus!).
