Me and the other roommate CC are eclectic ADHDers who work in social/health care and are looking for a new roommate.

We are big on direct communication, honesty and transparency.

We have basic standards of cleanliness but are not rigid because we know sometimes things get busy – we do expect common areas to be cleaned up in timely manners.

There is also a back office that doubles as a storage space and spare room – perfectly adjustable for if you have family visiting. We have a plug in queen sized mattress and a fold out cot or two if you want to have guests

We are located at Kingsway and Knight, a perfect place to get around the city! We have one parking spot extra off street, and I drive so can give you a ride sometimes.

Rent is just $900 (as of today) and includes:

3Gbps high speed fibre internet

Hot water/heat

Cleaning supplies and other household needs

Laundry is on site and doesn’t cost extra.

I’m also an avid online shopper and am open to getting extra things to improve your space or common areas.

The house is always improving and we hope to have someone who wants to stay for a while but we are happy to review every few months to make sure everyone is fitting well with each other.

Experience with roommates is ideal but we’re willing to teach if you’re willing to learn..

I’m 38, and CC is 27, so ideally you’d be somewhere in between there.

I live as a gay man mostly and would love to have a fellow gay, but I also ident as two-spirit/non binary so love a bit of diversity that way. I love yoga, nature, and meditation. I usually sing in a choir as well.

Cc is basically a gay man in lady form, is also two spirit and big queer. We are both indigenous (I’m Mi’kmaq and she’s Cree).;

We love to socialize but aren’t big on parties, but a few gatherings happen here and there!

This is not a sober household but we also aren’t a good fit for someone who uses/drinks all the time. Open hard drug use is not cool due to the family neighborhood.

Smoking is ok on the back deck but not inside.
