I have a spacious and furnished main-floor bedroom available for November, for single occupancy. The private room is ~200sqft, has a queen bed (medium-firmness), desk, security lock, emergency exit, cabinet storage, and a walk-in closet. The large 2,000+ sqft home has a security system with exterior cameras, home is pet-free, and is also owner occupied (working healthcare professional).

Monthly rent includes utilities. Roommate term is on a month-to-month basis (no lease term). Off-street parking limited but may be available. A washer and dryer are also available. Pets cannot be accommodated.

I am a busy working professional, in my early 30s, who enjoys a peaceful home. To me, a peaceful home has the following qualities:

• all relevant communication takes place through ;
• no alcohol or drug use/ smoking on the property;
• abiding by the house rules, including quiet hours, the laundry schedule, and respecting personal space and property;
• all housemates are committed to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, including chore duties, tidying shared space after use, safe food handling practices, and personal hygiene;
• maintaining air quality, including avoiding high-temperature oil cooking or use of ingredients and chemicals which may trigger a fragrance sensitivity;
• any gatherings, or overnight guests, are communicated and agreed to in advance by the housemates.

*The house is largely scent-free due to frangrance sensativities so I am also looking for a roommate who does not use spray or aerosol-style body deodorants or perfumes. However, natural scents, such as essential oils are usually tolerated.

I am looking for roommates who will help maintain the peaceful environment. Ideally, they will be working full-time outside of the home with a regular schedule.
