The apartment is located in Sandy Hill, a 5 minute walk from uOttawa, so it’s the perfect location for students! We have 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and office space, as well as a large back balcony with chairs and a patio table.

I’m subletting my bedroom for 4-8 months while away for co-op. This bedroom is the only one downstairs, and is fully furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, chair, and shelving, along with a closet for extra clothes and storage space. It gets great natural light from the large window across from the bed. The bathroom next to it has a shared shower, but is dedicated to your toiletries alone; the other tenants store their things in the upstairs bathroom, where their bedrooms are.

Utilities:

• Wi-Fi, hydro, and water are not included in rent, but tend to be an average of <$60/month.
• Street parking in front of the house, and on nearby streets.
• Basement cellar with clothes-washer and dryer, and secure storage space for boxes, bikes, etc.

Location:

• 5 minute walk from uOttawa, as well as the Rideau street Loblaws, Shoppers, and Bytowne Cinema. Happy Goat is one street away.

The two other roommates are friendly, clean, and respectful 25-year-olds (1 woman, 1 non-binary) and long-term friends of mine who are occupied with their own school and work, but are very happy to socialize and share spaces like the kitchen and living room. Chores like garbage, sweeping, and dishwasher unloading are shared on a fair, rotating schedule that should be respected, but with the understanding that sometimes life gets in the way of these things :).

There are currently no pets in the house, save for the neighborhood cat Oscar (he likes to visit sometimes…) but pets are welcome here. The house is very quiet most of the time, but sometimes people watch TV in the living room or have some guests over for a hangout, with the other roommates’ consent.
