Looking for a Roommate in Picton. 2-bed, 1-bath apartment, very central and great for walking. Flexible on length of stay: one month to a year, we’ll figure out what works for you.

The Space

• Private room, furnished or unfurnished
• Shared living room, kitchen and bathroom; in-unit laundry
• $900/month, all-inclusive (heat, hydro, A/C, internet)
• No on-site parking, but plenty on the street nearby
• A small dog lives here (she’s pretty adorable), she’s a frenchie/boston terrier mix and not a barker, she loves people and training is important to me so there’s a limit to her crazy antics

The Vibe: I like living with people. It takes the edge off the day-to-day and makes a place feel like home. My weeks tend to include cooking dinner, potlucks, friends over for coffee, and getting out into nature. I’m into cooking, sailing, thrifting, exploring new ideas (business startups and side projects included), and spending time with good people. I’m pretty laid back, looking to create a living situation that feels like community.

Who I’m Looking For: Someone easy-going, open-minded and thoughtful, who wants to share a space rather than just rent a room. No smoking or vaping indoors (whatever you do outside ain’t my business). I’m open to pets, just need to make sure they’d get along. A working-vacation stay to get out of the city is welcome too.
