Whyte Avenue NW

South Central Edmonton, AB T6G 0T3

Looking for one roommate to share a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo at Properties on Whyte in Garneau, near the University of Alberta. We can discuss who takes the primary bedroom and who takes the second bedroom. Each of us will have a private bedroom and our own full bathroom; the kitchen and living spaces will be shared by just the two of us.

The primary bedroom is CAD 1,200 and the second bedroom is CAD 1,000 per month, including heat and water. If you prefer the primary bedroom, we can discuss the room allocation and corresponding rent split. Electricity and internet are extra and will be split equally between us. Move-in date is flexible between December 1, 2026 and January 1, 2027. We can agree on a date within that window.

The unfurnished sub-penthouse corner unit is approximately 1,192 sq ft, with south- and west-facing windows, air conditioning, in-suite laundry, stainless steel kitchen appliances, and a large wrap-around balcony. Convenient access to campus, transit, shops, cafes and restaurants on Whyte Avenue. No smoking or pets.

Please message me with a short introduction and your preferred move-in date. Lease arrangements and any deposit will be confirmed with the agent.

Hi, I’m Zhihan, a male incoming Computer Science PhD student at the University of Alberta, arriving this December. I’m from China and previously studied at the National University of Singapore.

I’m clean, tidy and considerate about noise and shared spaces. I usually work on campus and cook at home, mainly Chinese food. I’m looking for one tidy, respectful roommate, ideally a student, who is comfortable communicating about cleaning, cooking and household routines. It would just be the two of us sharing the apartment.
