I am looking for a mentor roommate to share a large, lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo near Eglinton and Victoria Park. You will have your own bedroom and full bathroom. The rest of the apartment is furnished. The bus stop for the 91 or Eglinton buses are right out front, shops across the street, close to DVP. The Crosstown LRT is a year away from completion which will make it even easier to get around the city. An allocated parking spot is available for your use.

A bit about me. I am a 22-year-old young man that already has experience living on my own. I have autism spectrum disorder. I enjoy watching movies and have a large DVD collection. I also like Youtube, itunes, going for walks, canoeing and traveling. I am working towards getting employment. Cooking is one of my strengths and I am quite capable of planning and preparing all of my own meals. When I want to take a break from cooking, I order food delivery or go out to restaurants. I have a young cat. Also, my parents live close by to help me if I need. I am looking for someone, with the life experience to provide guidance and support to help me to navigate social situations, getting to know people in the building, and help me develop further skills to increase my independence. The time commitment for the mentorship is approximately 10 hours a week. In exchange for the mentorship, you will have greatly reduced rent. My mom is the initial contact person for more info.
