About the room
2 Bedroom: One is mine. Other would be yours. With a shared bathroom/dining/kitchen/living room area. Short walk to downtown Hamilton (Jackson Square, Central Library, Farmer’s Market, Copps Coliseum). Very close to Go Station (Hunter & James) as well as other HSR routes . Following utilities included (Hydro, Water, Heat/AC).
Phone (land line) NOT included but can be split (50/50). Internet/TV is NOT included (also can be split). I don’t own the apartment; I just rent.
Building amenities (Indoor pool, sauna, racquetball/half basketball court, exercise room. Outdoor tennis court & BBQ area). Basically the person who picks this .. will take over my sister’s half of rent. Which is currently $570/mth. Note: on the lease’s anniv it “might” go up $18-28/mth.
Any increase would be split (50/50). The anniv is Jan 1 of each yr. Not sure if this will be allowed by landlord .. will have to find out from them. BUT, as long as they get their rent money on TIME. I can’t see a problem. The security deposit amount I’m not sure of. So I just put $570
About the roomies
Only other person here is me: Single, 56 yr old female. I’m a non-smoker (would prefer another non-smoker). I don’t do drugs (especially “illegal” ones). I’m not a big drinker (if you drink it’s ok. I do sometimes but not a lot) . I’m employed full time and work Mon-Fri. I’m not a party girl and usually prefer a quiet lifestyle. I am now fully vaccinated as of Jul 30th. I own a cat so hopefully you’re not allergic to them. If you don’t like cats .. you probably don’t want this place because I LOVE them. If you have a cat that’s ok. But … my cat hasn’t been around other cats since I got her in Oct 2016. Not sure how she’d react. I would prefer a “PERMANENT” roommate if possible. I don’t really want to have to keep looking for one because it’s a pain in the butt to do so. I do have a Facebook profile (which I’m on frequently) and an Instagram one too (but don’t use it as much).
