Update: We are seeking 1 roommate to occupy 1 separate bedroom, single room occupancy. It is a large loft bedroom, privately located on the third level in our townhouse, and is available October 1st. Here’s a little about the place:
We’re located a five minute walk from Algonquin College in the Centrepointe area. You can find a grocery (Loblaws), 2 pharmacies (Guardian and Rexall), BMO, RBC, beer store and LCBO, as well as various other shops and restaurants within walking distance. A main bus station (Baseline Station) is located a 3 minute walk just outside your door, 25 min. bus ride to Ottawa U and/or Carleton U, and soon the LRT will be running through there too. Not to mention the city bicycle path is beside our condos, and a city maintained park serves as your backyard.
The room is unfurnished with a large window that allows for a ton of sunshine. The windows are dressed with blinds, which need to remain, however you are welcome to put up dark out curtains on top. The room can easily accommodate a Queen, with plenty of room for a sitting area as well. The ensuite off of bedroom 1, is your shared bathroom. It has a separate entrance from the hallway and will be shared with one other person.
You have full access to the entirety of the house’s shared spaces. This includes a living room and dining area. A half bath on the main floor. A kitchen with fridge, stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher. A coffee nook and a large balcony off the main level. Laundry is located on the second level.
We do have a service dog who is extremely well mannered. This is his home, as such we will be unable to accommodate other pets, as he can be easily distracted from his work, which could put my health at risk. We are four-twenty friendly, but not partiers. We enjoy a quiet home and are always considerate of everyone’s work schedules.
This rental comes all inclusive. Heat, hydro, electricity, water, central air and internet are all included in your roommate agreement. There is one dedicated available parking space which is an additional $100/month if you require it. First come first served for this parking space, as there is only one available. You must supply your own toiletries, utensils, plates, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, and vacuum for your room.
Aggression, disrespect, illegal activities, theft and late rent will not be tolerated. We are a respectful, non-judgemental, mature home, and we encourage open, honest communication.
