The rental room is the master bedroom in a renovated house in Uptown Waterloo just steps from Waterloo Square, the Light Rail and Waterloo Park. The room is 10x11 feet with a queen-sized bed, bedside tables and a closet.

The living room, kitchen and dining room are shared with the another tenant, currently a female recent masters grad, and the owner who lives on the ground floor. Parking spot, laundry in the basement, internet, utilities and the company of a chocolate labrador are included in the rent.

References, pay stubs and possibly background checks are required. Two months’ rent must be put down to hold it, and two months’ notice are to be given prior to moving.

The owner and the current, female tenant are kind, personable and well-educated. The labrador dog provides friendship, entertainment and walks. The owner instructs college and the current tenant is a therapist.
