Set up for independent students looking for a quite, low-key studying space to enjoy while attending the fall school term/semester.

Short term, month to month agreement - personality compatibility is important to me.

One level town house with ocean views of the Nanaimo Harbour.

Fully furnished 2 bathroom 2 bedroom home, open plan living/dining and kitchen are shared areas with a small furnished deck to enjoy the view.

Kitchen supplies and towels/linens are there for you to utilize (you’re responsible for own food/pantry items).

Private large bedroom with very large closet, includes queen bed, desk and guest bath.

The strata complex is in a quiet area, well landscaped and close to both Port place mall and South gate mall. 10 min drive to VIU or 13 min drive to WMI. Single Bus route with bus stop 5 min walk from door. I have been told by other roommates its not the most convenient bus system, however, it is an option. Shared single driveway for parking if you have a vehicle, visitor parking is limited and used on occasion but avoided as much as possible. I am open to lending my street bike to students but again, have been told it is quite the workout to bike to VIU (lots of hills). I can also offer rides to VIU in the morning as I am on my way to classes.

I have a cat, so must be pet friendly. Strata limits pets and cats are indoor only - open to discuss small pet but please note this would be based on a short term stay. I am also limited to strata bylaws and my cats compatibility (male and lived alone for sometime).

Rent is slightly flexible for the right fit. Potentially flexible rental timeframe.

I enjoy the mellow atmosphere my strata complex projects (this is a bit of an older strata) and hoping to find a personality similar. I respect the shared space and keep it tidy/clean, I looked for others who do the same. I enjoy cooking/baking when I have time. Happy to have friends over for dinner hangouts but pretty low key. I’d describe myself more on the introverted scale, but do enjoy being social and like a balance. I lean towards a month to month short term rental agreement (move in date & predicted move out) as being comfortable living together and compatibility is very important to me.
