Looking for individual to sublet my room from February 15th - June 30th 2023 in a main floor unit in Briar Hill. House has beautiful, huge, south facing windows over looking downtown. Will come fully furnished with one parking stall outside. Unit is shared with one quiet roommate who is a student at SAIT. House has a dishwasher and gas fireplace plus TV already installed in living room. Bedroom includes a walk in closet. Large yard for those who might like to garden. Laundry is shared with renters in basement suite. Location is right across the street from SAIT - less than a 10 minute walk to campus, or 10 minute walk to Lion’s Park station where U of C is two stops away. Also a 10 minute walk to the Safeway and Northhill Mall. Close to downtown and Kensington.

The ideal person to rent this space would be a single individual who is laid back and quiet, looking to commute to downtown or SAIT/U of C. This individual will know how to share a space with someone else and will be respectful of the downstairs neighbours as well as the house contents. Absolutely no pets or smokers (including marijuana usage).

Rent is $900 per month including utilities.

Unfortunately due to a change in family circumstances I will have to leave the country for a few months. For reference, I am a quiet but social shift worker who enjoys socializing with the downstairs neighbours, working on my car in the garage, and watching movies. You’ll be sharing the space with my roommate, Pearce, who is a business student attending SAIT. Pearce is pretty laid back and quiet, and enjoys video games and he plays for the SAIT volleyball team. He is more of a night owl.
